Project Overview:
Ortenstone Gardens started out as a retired cow pasture. With the vision of a local business owner and the AGL team, the garden became what it is today; a walkable sculpture park open to the public. It’s home to Barefoot Frida and many other large-scale art pieces.
How I Contributed:
Much of Ortenstone has been developed on site and at a fast pace. Myself along with the AGL team placed trails, trees, and sculpture locations on site before they were translated to a CAD drawing. Being able to work with existing topography and a mature forest is not something that happens often, and has helped develop my design skills in ways that designing in 2D could not have.
